70th Annual Mug Race

Gear up for an exhilarating sailing adventure at the 70th Annual Mug Race, presented by the Rudder Club of Jacksonville and the Palatka Yacht Club. The Rudder Club is proud to host this iconic event as the organizing authority.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, May 4, 2024
• Start Time: 7:55am
• Start Location: Palatka, FL (Starting line details available on Regatta Network)
• Finish Line: Orange Park, FL (38 nautical miles down the St. Johns River)

The Mug Race is a thrilling 38 nautical mile one-way race down the scenic St. Johns River, open to all sailboats with a mast height of 44 feet or less. There will be two separate starts using the same start line: one for multihulls and one for other sailboats.
