The City of Palatka Recreation Department and the Police Athletic League are excited to host the 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Palatka Golf Club. This event promises a day of fun and community spirit, all while supporting programs for youth in our area.

Event Details:

• Registration: Opens at 8 a.m.
• Tee-off: 9 a.m. sharp
• Lunch: Served at 1 p.m.
• Prizes:
  • Awards for 1st through 4th place teams
  • Longest drive
  • Hole-in-one

This event is open to golfers of all skill levels, whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game. It’s a great opportunity to connect with others in the community, enjoy some friendly competition, and support a worthy cause.

Participation Costs:

• $75 per individual player
• $300 for a team of four

Sponsorship Opportunities:
We also invite businesses and individuals to consider sponsoring the event. Sponsorship packages include:

• Green Level: $500
• Par/Silver Level: $1,000
• Birdie/Gold Level: $1,500
• Platinum Level: $2,500

Palatka Golf Club 

The Palatka Golf Club is a historic public golf course established in 1925, designed by the legendary Donald Ross, one of golf’s most influential architects. Known for crafting over 400 courses worldwide, Ross’s designs are celebrated for their seamless integration with the natural landscape, strategic challenges, and timeless elegance. The Palatka Golf Club is a rare opportunity to play a Ross-designed course, offering a glimpse into the golden age of golf course architecture.
