2022 Union Occupation of Palatka
Step back in time to 1864 when Union troops occupied the Bronson-Mulholland House, using the surrounding area of Sunny Point as an encampment. Living history reenactments include educational demonstrations, weapon demonstrations, canon firing on Saturday, and a tour of the historic home that stood through the war.
This event is free and open to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., with Friday morning filled with our 4th grade field trips and for those at home we will be broadcasting live from the event on Saturday, bringing it into your homes as if you were there yourself. The majority of this event takes place outdoors.
